How does it work?
Place your order and post your negatives securely in a padded or jiffy envelope along with your order number and clearly indicate which negative(s) you would like scanning/ printing. Once your order is completed your negatives will be posted back to you.
For scanning you will receive a download link that lasts for 30 days. For prints these will be posted with your negatives.

What scanning service do I need?
It depends on your individual requirements. For exhibitions or the best archiving files select Imacon scanning. For social media flatbed scanning is perfect.

How do I post my negatives to you?
Ensure your negatives are secure using a padded or jiffy style envelope. You will receive the postal address once within your confirmation email.

Do you offer student discount?
Yes & more! We offer all students PLUS any students who have left education within the first year 25% off all services. Click here to apply.
We understand the importance of looking after each other particularly when you first starting out.

Do you offer other discounts?
Yes, if you have a large project in mind, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to discuss options. Also when ordering large amounts we automatically apply discount at the checkout. For example: 10 scans get 1 free!

What are your turn around times?
We always try and turn around your work as quick as possible but still providing the very best service. Below is our goals:
Scanning - 48 hours
Printing - 1 week (depends on the size and amount)

Do you work on large projects?
Yes - if you are looking for The Grainwork’s to support you on a large project - get in touch. We know how stressful exhibitions can be - we are happy to relieve some of that stress.

Do you cut my negatives
We understand how important negatives are and we treat them like a new born baby. Only if we have to we will cut your negatives. Please state if you specifically do not wish for your negatives to be cut.

Can I have control of my prints?
Yes, when it comes to handprints it is very much a calibration project. You can be involved as much or as little as you would like.
